ART CLASSES FOR ADULTS WHO THINK THEY CAN'T DRAW
If you've landed here, chances are there's a creative itch you've been meaning to scratch.
Maybe you've been telling yourself you can't draw for years. Maybe you used to make things and somehow life got in the way. Either way — you're in the right place.
I'm Debbie, and this is Cygnini Creative.
I help adult beginners (and returners!) actually enjoy the process of learning to draw and paint — without the intimidation that tends to come with it.
You can work with me in person or online, wherever you are.
Not sure where to start? Here's a quick map:
🎨 Workshops — in-person art groups and special events in [your area]. I run a weekly group, a monthly one, and events throughout the year. Local? Come join us. Not local? That's what Create is for!
🌿 Create: the art community — my online art membership with live sessions, lessons to watch in your own time, and a genuinely lovely community of people on the same creative journey. If you've always wanted a regular creative practice but never quite made it stick — this is for you. Wherever you are, you're welcome.
✏️ The Blog — practical tips, a bit of mindset, and creative ideas to keep you inspired. New posts every couple of weeks — grab a cuppa and have a browse.

I was a complete beginner before joining Debbie's class, but have learnt such a lot in just 4 weeks. Debbie has a friendly and encouraging teaching style, and gives very clear instructions. It was such a lovely and relaxed way to learn and with a friendly and supportive group.
Rachel, Beginner's Botanical Art Course
I had a really lovely day thank you & the day was just what I wanted...relaxation and mindfulness. The weather and the venue were super too. I have finished my canvas since I got home & I am pleased with it.
Linda, Pick & Paint at The Flower Farm

A really enjoyable time , a relaxed space, friendly group and lots of positive and helpful support from Debbie. There was space to explore different mediums, and practise drawing or painting the human body in motion. Altogether a great experience!
Tessa, Humans Art course
It was a most enjoyable day and gave us all the chance to stop, slow down and find for ourselves the patterns, structures and beauty of the Cathedral grounds all around us. Debbie has an empathetic and professional approach to her art guidance and leadership which enabled me to feel safe within the group and learn to use the water colours more effectively. It made me feel that I would either repeat such a day or drop in to one of the Friday sessions.
John, Cathedral Art Day
How We Give Back
We believe in doing our part and raising funds for important causes that work so hard and deserve our support.

At Cygnini we like to often create events that give us the chance to do good together while having fun making. We do this by giving a percentage of our profits (sometimes 100%!) to a brilliant charity, usually a different one each time. Over the years, our collaborative charity events raised over £250 to support mental health and cancer charities.
We also collaborate and create private events for charities to raise funds, so get in touch to see what we can arrange!
