Boredom busters!

Hi! How are you? Lockdown in January was gruelling, and despite the slightly lighter evenings, February is heading the same way. Keeping busy seems to be the way to pass the days, and we have a few ideas this month to keep little hands busy at least!

Our half-term workshop is the first one this year with a guest presenter! Shannon from Weaving Club has agreed to lead a session teaching us how to weave a bookmark! I am so excited 😃 I've wanted to learn to weave for a while now and this is a great starting point!

You can find out what you need here and book. Spaces are limited, so be quick as I can see this one being popular!

Our second workshop has two dates - Feb 20 & Feb 21. We are celebrating the start of Chinese New Year 🎎 and making a paper craft Dragon puppet 🐲 designed by our own lead designer, Hannah. You have a 2D and 3D Dragon face option, so that younger children can take part too! Have a look at the photos and see what you think! Hannah and I will be leading the events so that we can show you how to make both faces in one session if you have siblings of different ages! 🙌

Finally, we are getting ready for March events and you are first to know that we are holding a Mother's Day gift making workshop (which is a little bit secret so we don't spoil the surprise 😉) and we are getting ready for Easter too, which is creeping up early this year! Look out for more info very soon!

Lots to look forward to. Hope to see you again soon!

For now, take care and stay safe 💙
