Children's Live Online Botanical Drawing Course

Does your child enjoy drawing and want to improve their technique? Do they want to learn how to use their observation skills to the best effect so that their drawings come to life? This short course is an excellent introduction into botanical drawing. You will need a variety of pencils from H to 2B, a fineline pen and a small set of watercolour paints. These do not need to be expensive, as it is the skill we are learning.

What will we cover each week?

• Week      1 - introduction to sketching techniques and observational skills required for botanical drawing.

• Week      2 - Use of pencils to create a simple black and white drawing of a leaf/plant

• Week      3 - Using pen to make line drawings of plants and bringing them to life.

• Week      4 - Using colour to enhance both your pencil and pen drawings.
